I hope everyone had a great St. Patty’s Day!
I spent mine just lounging around the house, pretty much doing nothing except reading and watching Supernatural (my new tv show addiction!! So good! :))
For breakfast I made myself a fried egg sandwich and a green smoothie, in honor of St. Patrick’s Day!
I was going to make some peanut butter today but…. That didn’t exactly happen. Oh well, I’ll make some later this week.
My legs are super sore from yesterday’s leg workout and I love it! Walking up the stairs was a challenge 🙂
Well, tomorrow is chest/triceps and I’m very excited! Have a great night 🙂
Hi everyone! 🙂
Today I did my leg workout that I was supposed to do yesterday. And let me tell ya, this was a good one!
I think leg workouts are my favorite. I always feel so strong.
I workout in my basement, so today, when I was done with my workout, I had to walk up the stairs and that was brutal!! Right now I’m sitting at the computer, and I know as soon as I get up, my legs are going to be super sore! But honestly, it’s going to feel great 🙂 I really like feeling sore after a workout because it makes me feel so accomplished and I know that I’m getting stronger 🙂
Have a great night! Tomorrow I’m going to make some peanut butter! 🙂
I am still very happy about that nomination! That is just so cool 🙂
So, I have been coming down with a cold for the past few days. I have tried to kick it but it’s not working. I have been drinking green tea and eating oranges a lot, but it doesn’t seem to work 😦 I actually feel fine, it’s just all this gunk that’s in my nose and my throat… Blech! Oh well, at least I’m not too sick to get a workout in!
Here’s what today’s workout looked like:
And, boy, do my legs feel like Jell-O! This was definitely a great Legs & Abs workout, that’s for sure!
Well, I’m going to go make some tea and try to get rid of this cold. I think tomorrow will be a rest day so that I can make this cold go away.
Have a great day everyone! 🙂
P.S.~ Check out my Motivation page 🙂
Whew, so today’s workout was really hard actually. Sometimes when I write the workouts before I do them, I don’t think it’ll be that hard but it usually is 🙂 Oh well, a good, hard workout is good for ya, right? I also got to wear my new sneaks for the first time and they were wicked comfortable; they were definitely a good buy 🙂
Well, this workout took me about 45 minutes, I think. I wan’t really timing myself so this is just an estimate..
5 minute warmup
- 20 squats with weight
- 25 pushups
- 40 crunches
- 15 burpees
- 35 jumping jacks
~Repeat 2 times~
90 second rest
- 1:00 minute sprint
- :30 touchdowns
- 12 divebombers
- 10 elevated pushups
- 1:00 minute plank
- 20 V-rocks
~Repeat 1 time (but when you repeat, cut everything in half)~
5 minute cooldown
Well, there it is! Both my legs and my shoulders were killing me by the end! Tomorrow’s workout will consist of some running and a little strength training… We’ll see!
Good night everyone 🙂
P.S.~ Don’t forget to check out my Motivation Page! 🙂
It seems like nowadays I am just getting busier and busier! While, I love being busy and always having something to do, a little downtime would be nice!
Yesterday, my friend came over and we did a leg workout that I came up with.
(Sorry my handwriting is a little messy)
We repeated this circuit only once and my legs were burning! Those touchdowns really make my legs hurt, especially with those tuck jumps afterwards, whew! Super tiring, and my legs still hurt today!
Last night, my brother and I went to kickboxing (my second workout of the day!) For those of you that haven’t tried kickboxing, I would highly recommend it! It is an amazing full body workout that really gets your heart pumpin’! Plus, you get to punch and kick stuff so there’s really no downside! Go, try out some kickboxing classes!
Currently, I am reading a book called How To Be a Hepburn in a Hilton World by Jordan Christy. It is seriously a wonderful book. If you are disgusted and disappointed with the way people act this day in age or maybe you want to start acting with more class, you should definitely read this book!
Well, I have to go workout sometime tonight.. But I have been stalling with about an hour and a half of Pinterest… I think a nice hard workout will do me good.
See ya soon!
This morning I woke up yet again, you guessed it, really really early. As much as I don’t want to leave my unbelievably warm and cozy bed, I know that my workout will be worth it. This morning’s workout was pretty good, not my favorite though. I came up with it this morning while I was still half asleep 🙂
Here it is!
Circuit #1: Each exercise for 60 seconds with a 30 second rest
- spider pushups
- sandbag elevated hip lift
- pushup position, weight in hands, alternate lifting each hand
Circuit #2: Each exercise for 45 seconds with a 15 second rest
- back squats (with weight)
- tricep dips
- jumping jacks
I did a 5 minute warmup but no cool down because I ran out of time. Tomorrow, I am hoping to put together a really great leg workout, so stay tuned! 🙂
Good night 🙂
This morning I woke up nice and early again (5am!) and did my workout. I was unbelievably tired this morning (probably due to the fact that I stayed up late watching Biggest Loser…:)) but I still got my butt out of bed and worked out for about a half hour. Here is my workout!
This workout actually had me pretty tired by the end. It isn’t really heavy on leg stuff but my legs were hurting pretty badly.
Well, other than my workout I don’t really have that much to say… Have a good night everybody! 🙂
