Today was quite a busy day for me! I had softball tryouts from 4-6 (which I did very well at :)), then I came home and went for a short 2ish mile run. After that I went down to the basement to get my lifting in for today 🙂
Here’s what I did!
My mom has also started lifting with me and it’s great! 🙂 it’s awesome to have a lifting partner!
I made a delicious protein shake after my workout: one scoop of protein powder, a banana and a fair amount of milk. I don’t really measure hen I make smoothies/shakes… I pretty much just throw everything in a blender and see what happens 🙂

Hello everyone 🙂
Today I am just feeling really good! I got back late from softball and decided to still lift and I am so glad that I did! 🙂 Lifting just make me feel so good! Plus today was an arm and shoulder day and I am pretty proud of my arms 🙂
And I have some new lifting gloves! My arms aren’t exactly where I want them to be but I sure am happy about them as of now 🙂
The workout I did today was the same as last Monday, I just increased the weight a little bit. Tomorrow I will be doing a circuit type workout maybe…? I haven’t really decided yet 🙂 But I will definitely post it!

Here is my arm workout from yesterday:
When I was done with this workout, oh my god, I could barely move my arms! And now, paired with today’s workout (that I will share shortly), my arms are very sore and very tired.. And it feels great 🙂
Today’s workout was a jump rope circuit that I put together because I felt like I needed to do some cardio today!
There ya go! I added a small ab bonus to do after 🙂

I woke up this morning feeling great and I got my arm workout in, but as the day progressed, I started to feel more and more sick. I am seriously not feeling well at all right now, so here’s my workout and then I’m going to head to bed.
5 minute warmup
- 1 min. jumping jacks
- 1 min. high knees
- 1 min. jog in place
- 1 min. butt kicks
- 1 min. burpees (no pushup)
3×15 clean and press
2×10 reverse pushups
2×15 lateral raises
25 jumping jacks
20 pushups with a plank rotation
2×25 bicep curls
And.. yup, that’s it. I decided not to do abs today, I don’t know why. Also, I put this workout in Fitocracy and I earned over 1600 points! I am already on level 5, that’s pretty cool. I really like that app.
