This morning I got up night and early and got my workout in! I decided to switch it up a little bit and try something new. Here’s what my workout looked like this morning:
Run .5 mile
~Repeat 5 times~
While I wasn’t too happy when I was doing the workout, after I was done I felt really good 🙂 I haven’t really run (because it’s been about 15 degrees here!) and it felt good to get on my elliptical and bust out some miles, even if it was only 2.5.
My legs did hurt when I was running but I kept pushing because I know that I can run that fast even when I don’t really feel like I can. Sometimes, I think we need to just shut off our mind and let our body take over. So do 2 more pushups or run another mile or do 3 more reps because you CAN do it! Your mind will quit before your body does, remember that! Don’t ever quit just because you don’t think you can do it. With that attitude, you’re right! If you have a negative attitude you won’t get anything done. I know, I know, you’ve heard this before but honestly it’s true! If you are positive, you can achieve anything! All you have to do is believe in yourself 🙂 So make sure you have a positive attitude in anything you do, it will make your life a whole lot more enjoyable 🙂
I am already starting to see such a big difference in my body and how I feel. I think since the year started I’ve had any kind of sweets once, maybe twice, and it hasn’t phased me at all. I don’t crave it, and when I see it I almost am a little bit disgusted by it. Just from the thought of it going in my body, knowing that it’s not healthy. If I keep up with this workout and clean eating thing that I’m doing, then I am going to be so healthy and look my best for this summer! I can’t wait! 🙂
